AVNAH Fashion Exhibition Inc. is a nonprofit 501c3 organization dedicated to providing underserved youth with a creative learning environment to develop trade skills and artistic abilities that can lead to future careers in fashion and art.
Statement of Need:
In many underserved communities, youth lack access to safe, constructive environments that foster creativity, trade skills, and career exploration. Without such opportunities, they are more vulnerable to social and economic challenges. Fashion and design are powerful tools of self-expression that can also provide sustainable career pathways.
The AVNAH Fashion Exhibition Inc. directly addresses these challenges by:
• Providing a safe, supportive space for youth.
• Teaching essential trade skills, including sewing, design, and 3D printing.
• Offering mentorship from established designers.
• Equipping youth with the confidence and tools to pursue careers in fashion, art, and design.
By funding this initiative, donors will help youth unlock their potential and positively transform their futures.
We bridge the gap of art and fashion through immersive fashion exhibitions, educational programming, classes, creative workshops, and trade skill development. Our mission is to empower aspiring designers, underserved youth, and marginalized communities by fostering artistic expression, providing access to industry resources, and cultivating the next generation of creative talent in the Fashion Industry.
About The Exhibition:
The AVNAH Fashion Exhibition Inc. is committed to creating opportunities for underserved youth to learn, create, and pursue meaningful futures in fashion and art. With grant funding, we can provide the tools, mentorship, and education needed to transform lives and empower the next generation of fashion leaders.

The Fashion Exhibition recognizes designers, fuse the two parallels of Art and Fashion, increase brand awareness and to give them the opportunity to showcase their latest collections. All designers will be on a Q&A Panel. Floor standing signs will be beside their exhibit display with their photo, website and their company bio. This exhibit inspires to educate the viewers with collections that influence art and fashion. These designers are highlighted specifically for their skilled craftmanship and intricate designs that reflects years of experience in the fashion industry. The exhibit aims to bridge the gap by offering the designers a curated exhibit to gain sales for their brands, as well as giving the viewers a tangible perspective on the evolution of fashion design, craftsmanship, and innovation.
This exhibit highlights established and emerging Fashion Designers all over the world. Our exhibition displays designer's creative designs for the buyers, media, industry professionals and public view. This exhibit was founded by fashion designer Avnah Long.
Through the fashion exhibition we seek to:
• Highlight Fashion designers, their artistry and thought process behind each piece to spark ideas and innovation.
• Increase sales, visibility and brand awareness.
• Empower Students: Share practical insights, industry knowledge, and career advice to help students navigate their own fashion journeys.
• Foster Connection: Build a dialogue with fashion designers, buyers and the public. Encouraging collaboration and exploration within the field of fashion. By combining the visual impact of the exhibit with an engaging discussion and Q&A panel.
• Creating a fashion exhibit that pushes boundaries and moves fashion forward through design.

• Hands-On Learning: Machine purchases, Sewing classes, educators, garment construction, fashion design, and 3D printing workshops.
• Mentorship Opportunities: Local and international designers will teach masterclasses and engage youth as well as in Q&A panels through fashion exhibitions.
• Fashion Exhibition: A curated event highlighting youth, students, both established and emerging designers, merging art and fashion to inspire students and the community.
• Community Engagement: Exhibits and workshops open to the public, fostering cultural appreciation, creativity, and awareness of career pathways in the fashion industry.
